Weekly Overview in Fallout Gamer's World

At the end of the week, the VTi team scan their memory banks to identify the incontrovertibly best and worst moments of the last week. Then, when confronted with the sum total of human ecstasy and misery, they write about Fallout gaming instead.. This week's news in case you've missed something, enjoy!

Let's Talk About: Fallout NV
When Black Isle shuttled off this mortal coil, some of the members, including series creator Joshua Sawyer, created a new studio dubbed Obsidian. Their history record is a bit...spotty *cough* Alpha Protocol *cough*, but when Bethesda had them make a Fallout spinoff game, it was like a reunion long overdue. Fallout: New Vegas is, in my mind, the true sequel to the original games...

Fallout - Cut Content
You boozed your brain out of your head once too often and now your body is craving for more... and more... and more... well done! You got yourself addicted. This was only partially implemented in Fallout and Fallout 2. Art and descriptions exist, but the addiction itself is not defined and so it cannot be obtained. Fallout cut content refers to the content in original Fallout game, which was cut from the final version of the game. A few of it can still be found in the game files but is inaccessible within the game itself. While there is so many of cut content in Fallout, we'll be focusing on the most interesting ones...

Post-apocalyptic Games

Fallout 4 mentioned in a Interview with Todd Howard (With Video)
“Fallout 4" was talked about in an interview by Todd Howard. Howard talked about what is presumably the fourth installment of the popular post-apocalyptic franchise.
We get asked a lot, I sort of tell people we’re figuring things out. We’re taking our time, we’re extremely excited about it and the reason we’re kind of holding back right now is because we want to wait until it’s really there to show it to everybody.
As he said in a YouTube clip (see an interview below @ 21:40), he then added..

Fallout 1 Guilds / Factions
BLADES-The Blades are a group of survivalists led by a woman named Razor, living in a pre-War nightclub in the Boneyard north of Adytum. The Blades appear only in the original Fallout, though a sign similar to the one from their hideout appears in Fallout 2 on a building in Klamath.
